Technical progress
Development progress
Ulord’s public blockchain development work mainly focuses on the release and upgrade of Ulord V1.1.5, Ulord sidechain contract function and service interface optimization, UOS sidechain charging, mortgage and currency sending; developer community V1.1.0 is optimized and passed the test, Android V1.2.0 mobile wallet was released after the test, and the iOS mobile wallet test was completed and will be online this week.
Public blockchain development
The release of Ulord V 1.1.5
1. Ulordchain automated script debugging passed the test to simplify the upgrade operation of Ulord version and improve the operation and maintenance efficiency;
2. Improved the monitoring means for the master node’s revenue voting to ensure that the master node’s revenue is correctly distributed according to the rules;
3. Solved the problem that the UOS sidechain data information was lost or repeated during the writing;
4. Added an interface that charges according to the number of bytes of the UOS sidechain, with the charge form of NET byte;
5. The mortgage function was modified, and can be mortgaged to others. The function has passed tested;
6. Introduced a configuration file in the alliance program, and wrote the information such as the alliance multi-sign address to the configuration file to simplify the input process when the coin was transferred;
7. Added the historical data reduction function of remasc (transaction cost allocation) contract and completed the test;
8. The USC sidechain wallet service interface API has been officially open to the public, and other DApps can submit transactions, query addresses and balances through the API interface.
9. Ulord Distributed File System (UDFS) deletion function was tested and the blacklist mechanism has been in design.
10. Discussed the functional support that U cloud disk application needs on UDFS, and planned to use UOS sidechain mortgage to obtain U cloud disk space.
Peripherals
1. Compared and merged the source code of Youyi mining pool and the joint mining, and monitored the joint mining of the Ulord test net;
2. The developer community front-end V1.1.0 function has been online. The optimization and new content are as follows:
a. Support multi-language switching, currently supporting simplified Chinese, traditional Chinese, English;
b. Completed the addition of the developer document, such as “Infrastructure Class — Platform Layer” and “Application Class”;
c. Finished overall style adjustment, UI interface refactoring to optimize user experience;
d. Added support for users to use the mailbox for account registration, optimized the function of the master node to re-apply for the master node data, and increased the master node entry for enterprise to apply.
3. Completed the developer community 2.0 functional requirements review, including proposal process optimization, forum, master node data statistics and query functions;
4. Ulord wallet version 1.2.0 was released as follows:
a. Android V 1.2.0 is online;
b. iOS wallet test was complete and is to go online this week.
Testing
Developer community front end V1.1.0 functional test:
1. Home interface optimization, added a community index page interface as a user access loading interface;
2. Optimized Home navigation menu, adjusted to 6 menu bars, including home page, Developer, Proposal, About, Personal Center and Language Switch;
3. Added new language features, support for Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and English switching;
4. Optimized the registration function and added the email registration function;
5. Optimized the login function, added mailbox login and automatic login function;
6. Optimized the real-name authentication function and added new enterprise real-name authentication;
7. Optimized personal center functions, added mailbox binding and modification functions, and optimized phone binding and modification functions;
8. Optimized the application process of the master node, added a new failed page and resubmit data after the master node binding is rejected;
9. Optimized the binding process of master node. After the master node is successfully bound, you can apply for rebinding.
This version has been tested and was online on October 22.
Android V1.2.0 mobile wallet test:
1. Interface and style optimization, from yellow main colour to blue main colour. Optimize processes and interactions, and use them more smoothly;
2. Added a backup function. After the wallet is created successfully, the user can choose to back up the wallet immediately or back up later.
3. Optimized wallet backup, and limited the number of wallet backups to 1 time. And when backing up the mnemonic, you cannot save the mnemonic to the mobile phone album through the screen capture;
4. Mnemonic display optimization, wallet backup — mnemonic operation, the numerical order is displayed in the lower right corner of the 12 mnemonics for user understanding;
5. Added private key import function to support importing wallet by private key;
6. Optimized the EOS resource management page, mainly optimized the display of the current price (highlighting the floating price that the user cares about in orange) and the display of data such as input box and CPU\NET;
7. The wallet switching page was optimized, and the above drawer type switching mode displayed the data of the current wallet of the home page. On the page of switching wallet, the number of created wallets was added after the text of the wallet type.
This version was tested and was on October 20.
Operation Progress
In October 2018, Ulord New York office was established in New York, bringing together a group of staffs with rich experience in blockchain operations. On October 18, Ulord New York office was invited to attend 2018 Mars Blockchain New York summit, and had a summit dialogue about the “NEXT STEP” of blockchain to analyze the opportunities and challenges behind blockchain industry with famous financial institutions and leaders from the United States and China.
On Oct 20, Ulord Shijiazhuang community launched meetup to discuss blockchain technology and Ulord ecosystem. They realize that 2018 is the first year for the development of the public blockchain. Ulord is not only the first content public blockchain in China, but also carries more applications to lead the regional further development. Community construction also bears more responsibilities and has a broader prospect.
On Oct 18, the fourth lesson Cryptography in Blockchain was taught to Ulord Youde community members. On October 24, the fifth lesson of “Private Key, A Core Members of Blockchain” was taught to Ulord Youde community members. The lecturers are doctors from Ulord technical team, and give the training to Youde core volunteers. The deep learning is about blockchain technology, development prospects, Ulordtechnical features to create a blockchain learning community.
Industry News
On October 24, The National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team (CNCERT) officially signed a contract with Changsha Economic Development Zone to establish Blockchain Security Technology Testing Center (BSTTC), china’s only blockchain security testing center only authorized by CNCERT. Mr Tan Lin, Chairman of Hunan Tianheguoyun, the technical provider of Ulord, participated in the signing ceremony as a member of the testing technology working group of BSTTC.
None interpretation
Private Key: a public Key and private Key are a Key pair obtained by an algorithm. The public Key is the key to public, and the private Key is not public, which refers to a key connected with an address (the address is the hash value of the corresponding public Key). It is only you know a string of characters, which can be used to operate cryptocurrency in the account.
Mnemonic: another manifestation of private key, first proposed by the BIP39, to help users remember complex private keys. Mnemonic words are usually composed of 12, 15, 18, and 21 words. These words are taken from a fixed wordbank and are generated in an algorithmic order, so users don’t have to worry about entering 12 words to generate an address. Anyone who gets your mnemonic can take your assets away with no effort.
