Development progress
This week, the Ulord developers mainly focused on the development of the new functions of the Ulord public blockchain, the optimized operations of the coins switch between Ulord chain and the UOS sidechain as well as the release of USC V0.1.2.
Ulord wallet iOS V1.2.0 passed test and was launched; Ulord wallet Android V1.2.1 was optimized and tested.
The developer community V2.0 was in development.
The development of the Ulord public blockchain
1. The ucenter certificate issuance was added to the Ulord mainnet for the certificate application of the UDFS system.
2. The operation of switching coins from UOS to Ulord was completed, which is realized by the UOS contract’s construction of the multi-signature transaction on the Ulord mainnet.
3. A new interface of rpc was added on the UlordChain to test whether the address for UOS switching UT was valid.
4. The multiple filtering mechanism was designed. In the mechanism, over 6 blocks must be generated on the Ulord mainnet to allow the UT switch between UOS and the mainnet, so as to prevent the waste of resources because of users’ frequently switch.
5. A testnet with 6 producer nodes (bookkeeping nodes) was built for the UOS sidechain and tested the functions of voting and mortgage.
6. UOS test document, UOS building document and the document for regular command lines were written.
7. The UOS recovery mechanism was tested, which restores the account information, contract information and other data in abnormal conditions.
8. The sidechain USC V0.1.2 was released.
Block header data of the Ulord mainnet was added in the memory V0.1.2. The problem that the USC sidechain took a long time to synchronize the Ulord mainnet can be solved through the data cache.
9. DPOS, the consensus mechanism of the sidechain USC was in design to improve the block generation speed of the sidechain.
10. ucwallet-service V1.1 was designed again.
a. The new version has a transaction check function, which can continuously check for newly generated blocks and announce the current execution status of a transaction to the program of ucwallet-sdk.
b. The new version also can send the transaction again to solve the problem that the transaction data is lost in the concurrency of transactions.
11. The development of black list of UDFS is completed.
12. The authentication of the UDFS network node has been in development to ensure the security of UDFS network.
Peripherals
1. Ulord wallet was ungraded as follows:
a. In Android side V1.2.1, the EOS server address configuration was optimized, and the problem that the home page data cannot be refreshed again in network disconnection.
b. The iOS side V1.2.0 was updated, the wallet interface and process were optimized and supports ETH, BTC, UT and other currencies to generate a wallet through importing private keys.
2. Developer Community V2.0 was in development, including:
a. The community task function was optimized.
b. The overall process of proposal function was optimized.
c. The module of forum was added.
Testing
The test of Ulord wallet Android side V1.2.1:
1. The optimized EOS server address configuration was tested, which can solve the problem that the home page cannot be refreshed again in the network disconnection.
2. The optimized EOS resource manager function was tested and online on Oct 31.
The test of Ulord wallet iOS side V 1.2.0:
1. The optimized EOS address was tested, which mainly solved the flashback problem in the upgrading of the old version.
The test of this version was finished and online on October 31.
Operation Progress
On Oct 31, the sixth lesson Consensus Mechanism was given to Ulord Youde community members. The lecturers are doctors from Ulord technical team, and give training to Youde core volunteers. The courses mainly include blockchain technology, development prospects and Ulord technical features.
Terminology
Testnet: it is a blockchain for test that has the same function as the main network. The testnet is created to try out new ideas without harming the mainnet, and is only used for testing.
Multi-Signatures: it means before a transaction occurs, multiple signatures are required. Multiple signatures increase the security of cryptocurrency so that a person cannot take the digital currency without consent.
